Bobbie Harman - 07/09/2002 Bobbie Harman - 07/09/2002 BOBBIE HARMAN ISLAND PARK, ID -- Bobbie (Barbara) Owen Harman, 63, of Island Park, died July 7, 2002, at her home. She was born March 13, 1939 at Rigby, Idaho to Vincent Owen and Lucille Nielsen Owen. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She married Orin Merl Harman on February 5, 1960 at Pocatello. They lived in Pocatello for 20 years then moved to Idaho Falls for 16 years. They have lived in Island Park for the last 10 years. She was one of the first certified Surgical Techicians in Idaho. She worked a total of 28 years and was employed by Bannock Memorial Hospital, Riverview Hospital and the Idaho Falls Surgical Center. She was a member of the Silver Sage Riding Club and the Targhee Women's Association. She enjoyed gardening, golf, painting, snowmobiling and all of the outdoors. Surviving are:Husband: Orin Harman, Island Park, IDSon: Kelly (Tammy) Harman, Pocatello, IDSon: Rob (Lori) Harman, Pocatello, IDDaughter: Barbie (Todd) Durham, Ennis, MTDaughter: Wendie (Rick) Preston, Elko, NVBrother: Lloyd (Peggy) Owen, Salt Lake City, UTSister: Beth (Spencer) Lords, Idaho Falls, IDSister: Javaan (Garth) Nuttal, West Jordan, UT 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 grandsons. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2002, at the Church in the Pines in Island Park, with Reverend John A. Rakestraw officiating. Bobbie was a cancer survivor and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
