BOB BARE
MUD LAKE, ID -- Bobbie Claude “Bob” Bare,
74, of Mud Lake, died October 16, 2004, at his home of cancer. He was
under the care of Aspen Home Health.
He was born February 11, 1930, in Wagoner, North Carolina,
to Claude Foster Bare and Jennie Kuharski Bare. He spent one year in Wagoner,
then moved with his family to Birch Creek, Idaho, where he attended elementary
school. He also attended school at Level, Terreton, and Osgood. Then he
graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and then
spent several years in the reserves.
He married Katherine Cowgill June 19, 1951, in Caldwell,
Idaho. He worked as a farmer, at the INEEL, and as a Journeyman Electrician.
He and Katherine owned and operated the B-K Motel in Mud Lake for 29 years.
He was a member of the Mud Lake Community Baptist Church.
He was also a member of the Laborers, Teamsters, & Electrical Unions.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in the mountains of Birch Creek
with his family, and playing pool with his sons.

Brother: Walter (Judy) Bare, Idaho Falls, ID
5 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October
20, 2004, at the Mud Lake Community Baptist Church, with Pastor Richard
Sutterlin officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday beginning
at 11:30 a.m. at the church in Mud Lake.
Burial will be in West Jefferson Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home, Idaho Falls.
The family suggests memorials to the Mud Lake Community
Baptist Church, the West Jefferson Lions Club, or the West Jefferson Senior
Citizens Center.
