Bobbett Jensen

Bobbett Richards Jensen, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 1, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice. Bobbett was born June 17, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Grant Thomas Richards and Barbara Jean Eckersly Richards. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. On July 6, 1973, she married Jerald Jensen. They were blessed with three sons, Don, Kenneth, and James. Bobbett and Jerald were later divorced. Bobbett made her home in Idaho Falls, where she worked as a bus driver for Bonneville School District #93. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed horses, fishing, camping, knitting, and playing with her grandkids. Bobbett is survived by her son, Don (Amy) Jensen of Sorrento, FL; son, Kenneth (Amanda) Jensen of Idaho Falls, ID; son, James (Carla) Jensen of Dinosaur, CO; brother, Ralph Richards of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Roy (Cindy) Richards of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Rex (Susan) Richards of Idaho Falls, ID; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Laraina Landon, and brother, Bruce Richards. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at Fielding Memorial Park, 4602 South Yellowstone Highway, with Bishop Jeremy Cook officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
