Robert Lee "Bob" Park, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 11, 2016, at his home.

Bob was born June 16, 1940, in Norwich, Connecticut, to Wilfred Arthur Park and Marian Leona Ewers Park. He grew up and attended schools in New London, Connecticut, and graduated from New London High School. He also attended Letourneau College, earning his bachelor’s degree in engineering in 1963.

He moved to Idaho for a job with the INEL. On November 10, 1972, he married Lola Marie Jenkins in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Bob and Lola made their home in Idaho Falls where Bob worked as an engineer for AERO Jet, Bechtel, and EG&G. Lola preceded him in death on March 31, 2012.

He enjoyed gardening and landscaping. He loved trains, lighthouses, and sailing. He enjoyed cooking for his children and grandchildren. He loved his pets and made sure that everyone was loved and taken care of.

Bob is survived by his stepson, Steven (Susan) Fullmer of Deer Lodge, MT; stepdaughter, Rena Marie DeLuna of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Scott (Sandy) Park of CT; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lola, and a stepson, Stanton Sherwood.
