Bob Blankenbaker - 01/28/2003 Bob Blankenbaker - 01/28/2003 BOB BLANKENBAKER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Robert E. “Bob” Blankenbaker, 68, of Idaho Falls, died January 24, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He has been under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. He was born February 14, 1934 at Idaho Falls, the son of John Blankenbaker, and Elva Poulter Blankenbaker. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. He served in the U. S. Air Force. He married Candelaria Flores-Gomez on January 26, 1976, in Idaho Falls. He worked as a truck driver until his retirement. Surviving are:His Wife: Candelaria “Cande” Blankenbaker, Idaho FallsDaughter: Dulce BlankenbakerSister: Coralee White Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2003, at Fielding Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Cande,I am so sorry to hear about your loss. As you probably remember Bob and I were good friends for many years. I have thought many times about our experiences in Arizona. It seemed to me that when Bob married you he made a great choice and seemed really happy.
