Blair Dewain Petersen, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 1, 2023, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and One Source Home Health.
Blair was born March 19, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Eugene Dewain Petersen and Helen Hunziker Petersen. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and Ammon, graduating from Bonneville High School.
On August 20, 1988, he married Catherine Eunice Kennel in Idaho Falls. Blair and Catherine made their home in Idaho Falls where Blair worked in auto body restoration and paint. He was owner of Creative Auto Decor and Creative Custom Motorcycle Paint.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, Sasquatch, camping, dirt biking, roaming the mountains in his side-by-side blaring his music, custom painting on anything, and bringing his ideas to life through metal art.
He was very patriotic. He loved the flag and veterans and respected what they stood for. He especially loved spending time at Fat Charlie’s with his chosen family.
Blair is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Petersen of Idaho Falls; 4-legged child, Whiskey; sister, Sonia Edwards; brother, Rick Petersen; and sister, Joanie Edstrom.
He was preceded in death by his 4-legged children, Nikki, Charlie, Moki; parents; and a brother.
