Click Here To View Memorial Video produced by Blaine's family Blaine “H” Haddon, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away on May 1, 2014, at his home. He was under the wonderful care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Blaine was born to Heber Winford Haddon and Deola Whitmill Haddon on September 25, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. On February 18, 1961, he married Ella Marie Swearingen. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on November 9, 1974. They had four children, Kevin, Bret, Chance, and Hayden. Blaine and Marie made their home in Idaho Falls where he worked for many years, and was well known for his work at auto salvage yards. He loved to do carpentry work, building the family home where he was when he passed away. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a man of many talents. He loved his dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working as a handyman, woodworking, and fishing at Palisades. Blaine is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marie Haddon of Idaho Falls, ID; his sons, Kevin Blaine (Truc Mai) Haddon of Vung Tau Vietnam, Bret H. (Judy Helen) Haddon of Idaho Falls, ID, Chance Bryan (Lisa) Haddon of Idaho Falls, ID, his daughter, Hayden Marie Haddon of Idaho Falls, ID 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, Heber Winford Haddon and Deola Whitmill Haddon. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Idaho Falls North Stake Center, 955 Memorial Drive with Bishop Josh Hawkes officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday at Wood Funeral Home (273 North Ridge Avenue), and on Tuesday from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services at the church.
