Billy Ned Day

William (Billy) Ned Day, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 11, 2023.

Billy was born April 1,1964, in Santa Barbara, California, to William Ned Day and Laura Kay Day. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and then joined the United States Army and completed his GED.

On October 7,1998, he married Michelle Day in Idaho Falls. Billy and Michelle made their home in Idaho Falls, where Billy worked in multiple positions at INL, including D&D and carpentry.

Billy loved the outdoors including camping, fishing, and riding dirt bikes. He also enjoyed golfing, and skiing. He was a man with a huge heart. Those who knew him could always rely on him for anything, including a good laugh and a huge meal.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Day of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughter, Keeshia (Tyson) Gondenough, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Laura Jean Day; and his three grandchildren, Traeley Michelle Schwartz, Renner William Goodenough, and Indie Faye Goodenough.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Ned Day Sr. and Laura Kay Wasetes Day; and his brother, Karl Dennis Day.
