B. MAXINE SMITH
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Billie Maxine Smith, 76, of Bountiful, Utah, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away July 12, 2006, at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.
She was born December 19, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Barney Riggs Hinds and Lelia Ellen Neal Hinds. The family moved to Driggs, then Rexburg, Idaho, where she attended schools, graduating from Madison High School. She received an Associates Degree from Glenn E. Clark Business College in Idaho Falls.
She married Lee M. Smith April 5, 1950, in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1980. She was a homemaker, mother to their three children, a tailor and a gourmet cook.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various positions. She also was a voice for Women's Rights. She was a joyful, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be deeply missed. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, traveling and snow skiing.

4 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2006, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge, with H. Michael Smith officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
