IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Billie Jo "Bill" Pasley, 72, of Irwin, died March 24, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was born January 19, 1937, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Joseph Arthur Pasley and Eva Sarah Wright Pasley. He grew up in Oklahoma, Texas, California, Kansas, and Idaho. He graduated from Pocatello High School.
He married Darlene May Barrett on November 21, 1956, in Pocatello, Idaho. They made their home in Pocatello, then Idaho Falls, where they raised their two daughters and three sons. Bill worked as a truck salesman for Smith Chevrolet prior to owning his own business, Pasley's Truck & Equipment. After retirement, he and Darlene moved to Swan Valley, where he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed watching wildlife.

Son: Jerry (Judy) Pasley, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Donna (Darren) Cook, Shelley, ID
Son: John (Michelle) Pasley, Kansas City, MO
Brother: Paul Pasley
Brother: Roy Pasley
14 Grandchildren & 13 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack and Ray; and one sister, Lois.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, Idaho Falls, with Bishop Jerry R. Pasley of the Sage Creek Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
