BILL R. GNEITING
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Bill R. Gneiting, 53, of Idaho Falls,
died of Lou Gehrig's Disease at his home with his family by his side.
He was born August 29, 1951, in Menan, Idaho, to Lester
M. Gneiting and Donna Wilson-Gneiting. He attended schools in Rigby and
Idaho Falls, graduating from Skyline High School in 1970. He remained
loyal to Skyline, eventually serving as Booster Club President.
Bill joined the National Guard, but later received an
Honorable Discharge due to an injury received in a motorcycle accident.
On January 6, 1977, he married Danette Arnold. They were
married for 25 years, raising their children, Doug, Allisha and Amber
in the Idaho Falls area where he maintained a successful career in real
estate for over 30 years. Bill sold real estate through Century 21, Re-Max
Homestead and Realty Executives. He was consistently recognized as one
of the top producers in his profession, receiving numerous awards.
Bill loved spending time with his family and friends,
especially his grandsons, Quincy and Hayden. He spent many years coaching
his children and other youth in baseball, softball, and basketball. When
Bill wasn't busy with work or family, he enjoyed regular morning “meetings”
with some of his many friends at O'Brady's.
He also loved fishing, hunting, golfing, watching a good
movie and riding his Harley.

Sister: Deanna (Ken) Carter, Idaho Falls
Sister: Nita (Ron) Hix, Idaho Falls
Sister: Allonna (Larry) Chapple, Rigby, Idaho
Sister: Judy (John Barnes) Boltz, Vancouver, WA
In-laws: Dan and Bea Arnold, Idaho Falls
Long-time friend & partner: Danette Gneiting, Idaho Falls
2 Grandchildren, Quincy Dean Gneiting and Hayden David Carlson of Idaho
Falls, as well as many other friends and family. He was preceded in death
by a grandson, Keshun Gneiting, his parents, and three brothers, Montie,
Otto and Dale Gneiting.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September
10, 2004, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho
Falls. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
and Friday for one hour prior to the services, both at Wood Funeral Home,
273 N. Ridge.
