Bill "Bill Aland" Aland

Billie Gene Aland, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 25, 2012, at his home. Bill was born July 26, 1935, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Owen David Aland and Johnnie Beatrice Turpin Aland. He grew up in Idaho Falls, attending Idaho Falls High School, and later Idaho State University. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force. In November of 1958, Bill married Sylvia Gave Barnett in Taylor, Idaho. They were later divorced. Bill was an avid fisherman, hunter, and lover of the outdoors. Bill will be greatly missed by friends and a loving and proud family. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Taylor Cemetery.
