Beverly "Bj" Taylor

Beverly Joan "BJ" Taylor, 70, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 7, 2017, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Encompass Home Health & Hospice.

BJ was born December 18, 1946, in Springfield, Minnesota, to Raymond Radel and Dolores Steinhaus Radel. She grew up on the family farm and attended school in Sanborn, Minnesota, graduating from Sanborn High School.

She was married to Jerry Lange on June 18, 1965, in Willow Lake Lutheran Church, Sanborn, Minnesota. From this marriage, they had three children, Wendy Jo, Wanda Joy and Kip Jerry. They were later divorced.

On September 12, 1977, she married Harry Joseph Taylor in Jackson, Wyoming. To this union, Harry brought six children, Rich, Varcel, Sandy, Kevin, Greg and Dana. BJ and Harry made their home in Palisades, Idaho, for 37 years. In 2015, they moved to Idaho Falls. BJ worked as a secretary for Cannon Interior Design.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church. She was secretary for the HOA and also served many years as the secretary of the Snow Roamers in Palisades. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker, and she loved to crochet, snowmobile, and entertain family and friends.

BJ will be joining her son, Kip, with joy as she is laid to rest on his 47th birthday.

BJ is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Harry Taylor of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Wendy Jo Wilhite of Old Appleton, MO; daughter, Wanda Joy (Kim Carlson) Smith of Menan, ID; brother, Roger (Sandy) Radel of Spicer, MN; brother, Dale Radel of Paynesville, MN; brother, Curt (Mary) Radel of Rhinelander, WI; brother, Charles (Bonnie) Radel of St. James, MN; sister, Helen "Jane" (Don) Lange of Idaho Falls, ID; stepson, Rich (Rose) Taylor of Surprise, AZ; stepson, Varcel (Amy) Taylor of Osgood, ID; stepdaughter, Sandy (Asael) Sievers of Idaho Falls, ID; stepson, Kevin Taylor of Des Moines, WA; daughter-in-law, Connie Taylor of Idaho Falls, ID; 24 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kip Jerry Lange; son-in-law, Gary Smith; stepson, Greg Taylor; stepdaughters, Dana Albert and Debbie Taylor.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2071 E. 12th Street, with Pastor Jerry Powers officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
