Beverly W. Rodgers, 82, of Ammon, Idaho, formerly of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011, at The Homestead Assisted Living Center in Rigby. Our beautiful mom, grandma, great-grandma and wife peacefully passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011, in Rigby, Idaho, at the age of 82. She was born October 25, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Warnell Workman and Ver Strange Workman, and was the oldest of two children. She married our dad, the love of her life, Keith Sumsion Rodgers, on November 15, 1952, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She lived in Salt Lake City for 76 years and later moved to Ammon, Idaho, six years ago, where they met some very kind and loving friend.s Mom was an amazing seamstress; she also enjoyed knitting, needlepoint and all kinds of handwork. She loved animals and, throughout her life, always had a small dog. Mom could play the piano and organ beautifully. Mom's favorite thing was going camping with family and traveling in her motor home with Dad. Mom was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. Beverly is survived by her children, Craig (Pam) Rodgers, Brad (Janet) Rodgers and Becky (Darin) Cook; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren aond one on the way, her brother, Jack Workman, and her dog, Pepper. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, M. Todd Rodgers, and her husband, Keith. The family would like to pay special thanks to Monica with Aspen Home Health and Hospice, and all the staff of Homestead Assisted Living in Rigby. Also, Wood Funeral home in Idaho Falls and Jenkins Soffe Mortuary in Murray, Utah, and a special thanks to our sister, Becky, and family for having her in their home in her time of need.
