Beverly Peterson

Beverly Peterson, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 7, 2010, at her daughter’s home. She was under the care of Onesource Hospice. She was born January 29, 1941, in Hanford, California, to William Stephen Leasure and Roseabelle Marie Bailey Leasure. Beverly was raised in California and graduated from Hanford California High School in 1958. She moved to Oregon in 1964 and lived there until 1986, when she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Beverly worked at the University of Oregon as a caterer. Beverly moved to Idaho Falls and married Clyde W. Peterson in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 2008. While living in Idaho Falls, she worked at Beehive Clothing. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing and home decorating. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Beverly is survived by: Daughter, Chris M. (Karl) Peterson of Ammon; Son, Nathan Scott Lewis (Shanna) Hardman of Idaho Falls; Brother, Emerson Leasure of Porterville, CA Brother Virgil Leasure of Laton, CA; 13 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Peterson, sister, Betty Farris, and brothers Wesley and Leland Leasure. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010, at the Idaho Falls LDS Stonehaven Ward, 1660 - 12th Street with Bishop David Standley officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park at a later date.
