Beverly (Reynolds) Higley

Beverly Reynolds Higley, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 17, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was under the care of One Source Hospice.

Beverly was born August 21, 1959, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Edwin Vaughn Reynolds and Norene Christensen Reynolds. She grew up in Lost River, Arco, until age 5 when her father went back to college and the family lived in Utah until she was 13. At that time, the family moved back to Lost River. She graduated from Butte County High School. She also attended Ricks College where she received a degree in Business Management.

On October 22, 1983, she married Dennis Patrick Dailey. They later divorced in 2002. On May 14, 2011, she married James Higley in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She referred to James as the love of her life. Beverly and James made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Beverly worked as a bookkeeper and cashier. She also sold Avon for 35 years.

Beverly was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a Primary teacher and a secretary. She enjoyed doing puzzles and water skiing at Lake Powell when she was younger. She was a wonderful wife and mother and cherished her time raising four wonderful children. Beverly loved her family and would do anything for her kids.

Beverly is survived by her husband, James Higley of Idaho Falls, ID; children Christopher (Alicia) Dailey of Idaho Falls, ID, Jessica Burt (Russty Butler) of Idaho Falls, ID, Jennifer Garcia (Danny Moyer) of Idaho Falls, ID, and  Dennis Dailey of Idaho Falls, ID; siblings, Cheryl Sipes of Corsicana, TX, Bret (Theresa) Reynolds of Idaho Falls, ID, Shawn Reynolds, and Brenda (Kevin) Machen of Idaho Falls, ID; and 24 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, brother-in-law, Tom Sipes, and nephew, Ben Sipes.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Taylor Crossing Ward, 2040 Brentwood Drive, with Bishop Robert Sant officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
