Beverly Clark

Beverly Clark, 83, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 12, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Beverly was born June 11, 1934, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Orville H. Clark and Genevieve Bowen Clark. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho, Montana, Utah, and California, graduating from Menlo Atherton High School. Beverly received a call to serve an LDS mission to Uruguay from 1957-1959.

Beverly attended Brigham Young University in Provo, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. She then returned to California where she served as a social worker in Kern County.

A few years later Beverly moved back to the Bay Area and obtained a real estate license. She enjoyed working in both fields and did so successfully. Having learned Spanish on her mission she was able to work in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties as a bilingual social worker. In the early 1980’s Beverly was a realtor for one of the Bay Area’s largest builders.

Beverly was adventurous and loved to travel. As a young woman, she visited Europe with some close friends and loved to go to Yellowstone and the Tetons every year.

Beverly moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 1986 and continued working as a realtor for Realty Executives of Eastern Idaho. During this time, she lovingly and tirelessly cared for her mother until her death in 1998.

Beverly was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Young Women’s organization and as a Sunday School teacher. She was very accomplished in survival skills and food storage and encouraged others to follow her example. She also loved to do genealogy and served as a temple worker.

All of her life, Beverly had a special love for animals. They seemed to sense how much she cared for them and she always took marvelous care of her pet companions.

Beverly was young at heart, had a wonderful sense of humor, and a fabulous sense of style. She was a much-loved aunt and had very close relationships with many of her 13 nieces and nephews and 38 great nieces and nephews.

Beverly is survived by her sister, Anita (Mike) Pigott of St. George, UT; brother, Mark (Carol) Clark of Harrisville, UT; and brother, Steven (Bibi) Clark of Idaho Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Genevieve Clark; sister, Bonnie Rae Clark; and sister-in-law, Debra D. Clark.
