Click Here To View Memorial Video Beverlie Gladys Grendell Berry, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 31, 2014 at her home. She was under the care of her loving family. Beverlie was born May 16, 1929 in Mapleton, Maine to Stanley Guy Grendell and Evelyn Marion Spinney Grendell. She grew up and attended area schools and graduated from Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Maine. On May 24, 1947 she married Chester Herbert Berry in Bangor, Maine. On August 13, 1957 their marriage was solemnized in Salt Lake City LDS Temple. From this union they were blessed with 6 children, a son and 5 daughters. Chester worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building chapels which took their family all over the country. Beverlie was a Humanitarian Worker for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed making numerous quilts, hats and sweaters. She enjoyed cake decorating, quilting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, crocheting, artex, needlepoint, genealogy, reading and traveling. She is survived by her loving husband, Chester, Son, Jon(Linda) Berry of Rexburg, ID, Daughter, Brenda (Hal) Peck III of Tolland, CT, Daughter, Bethany (Roger) Corless of Aiken, SC, Daughter, Julie Brooks, Idaho Falls, ID, Daughter, Leslie (Stephan) Ohngren, Ucon, ID, Daughter, Karen (Eric) Thiel of Ammon, ID, Sister, Marilyn Rich of Florida, Sister, Dorothy Grard of Maine, 25 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Linwood Grendell. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Iona 4th Ward Building (1040 Crimson) with Bishop Terril Nielson officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery.
