Betty Maxine Yocum Mallo, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 17, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Betty was born July 24, 1947, in Corvallis, Oregon, to Wilbert Yocum and Vauda Millie Greene Yocum. She was raised in Oregon and California, and graduated from South Fork High School in Miranda, California.
On June 27, 1964, she married Guy William Mallo in Weott, California. Betty and Guy made their home in Orville, California. They were blessed with three daughters, Evonne, Stephanie, and Bonnie. Betty worked as an OTR truck driver for 26 years.
She was a Christian and attended the Cornerstone Assembly of God. She enjoyed cake decorating and was a master cake decorator. She had fun attending concerts with her daughters, and gambling on occasion. She enjoyed music and played the accordion and sang in a choir. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved watching her great grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Guy Mallo of Idaho Falls; daughters, Evonne (Rick) Wilson, Stephanie (Tom) Likes, and Bonnie (Clyde) Mallo, all of Idaho Falls; 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Vauda Yocum; sister, Evelyn Yocum; and brother, Elbert Yocum.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 5600 S. Holmes Avenue, with Pastor Scott Davis officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
