BETTY TWITCHELL
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Betty Fay Twitchell, 76, of Idaho
Falls, died August 7, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of
natural causes.
She was born April 18, 1928, in Linwood, Utah, to Wilford
Vernal Twitchell and Luella Francetta Warby Twitchell. She grew up and
attended schools in Utah.
In 1948 she moved to Idaho Falls. She worked for Western
Farms, French's, and Pillsbury, and retired in 1989 due to ill health.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting afghans, and did
beautiful handwork. She loved taking trips and rides with family members,
especially her nieces and nephews, Ken (Penny) Chipp, Pam (Larry) Mallard,
Chris (Rod) Swasey, Jim (Kathy) Chipp, Rocky Twitchell, LaJean (Gerald)
Brethauer, and Kathy (Floyd) Wood.

Brother: Jeff (Mary) Twitchell, Caldwell, ID
Brother: Jack Twitchell, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Rita (Charles) Chipp, Mesquite, NV
Sister: Anna Twitchell, Idaho Falls, ID
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dick Twitchell
and H. D. Twitchell, and a sister, Elizabeth Lou “Sam” Twitchell,
and a brother who died in infancy.
Graveside Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday,
August 11, 2004, at the Manila Cemetery in Manila, Utah.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5 to
7 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
Burial will be in Manila Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
