Anyone that knew Betty, knew that she had a passion and enthusiastic look at life. She lived life to the fullest.

Betty passed away on May 5, 2016 with her sister, Zola, and her brother-in-law, Richard, by her side.

She was born April 15, 1934 . She grew up in Annis, Idaho. She is the 3rd of 6 children.

She married Charles Parshall and together they moved several times with the Navy. They were later divorced. Betty continued her education at Eastern Idaho Technical College (EITC) and worked at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). Betty later married Warren N. Thompson.

Betty was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her son, Bruce (Tonia) Parshall and 3 grandchildren, her brothers, Orrin (Coleen) Welker and Bob (Thelma) Welker, and her sister, Zola (Richard) Lindbloom.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Clinton and Nellie (Hall) Welker; her husband, Warren Thompson; her sister Delores Hilton; and her brother, Willis Welker.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Rd.). The family prayer will be at 8:30 p.m.
