Betty Lee Inman Richards, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully January 3, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Betty was born October 31, 1930, in Vinita, Oklahoma, to Marshall Inman and Wilma Fisher Inman. She grew up and attended schools in Vinita.
Sixty-five years ago, she married Hardie Lee Richards in Vinitia, Oklahoma. To this union were born three sons: Ron, Tony, and Steve.
In the 1950's, they moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma where Hardie attended school. They also lived in North Carolina; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Denver, Colorado; and Martin, South Dakota. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1976 where they built their own home on the west side of town and opened a hog operation. Throughout these years she worked at various jobs but mainly worked in the banking industry. She retired in the late 1980's.
Betty enjoyed working, visiting with family and friends, traveling and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Betty will be deeply missed and always remembered, our beloved Betty.
Betty is survived by her husband of almost 65 years, Hardie Richards of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Ron (Cherie) Richards of Arvada, CO; son, Tony (Michelle) Richards of Cave Creek, AZ; son, Steve (Debbie) Richards of Holyoke, CO; six grandchildren, Kimberly Richards, David Richards, Crystal Richards, Amanda Richards, Lacey (Jason) Frank, Jeremy (Christina) Richards and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Roberta Inman and brother, James Inman.
