Betty Metcalf

Betty Ruth Metcalf, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 11, 2012, after an extended illness in Ogden, Utah. She was born August 14,1934 to Carl and Betsy Schuldt of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Betty was a good daughter, a wonderful wife, and a great mom. She was a blessing in the lives of the many people she touched. Betty is survived by: Daughter, Deborah Haynes of Denver, CO; Daughter, Nancy Dollmeyer of Layton, UT; Daughter, Sharon Pastore of Gilbert, AZ; Son, Karl Metcalf of Cedar City, UT; Son, Bill Metcalf of Pleasant View, UT; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She will be missed as she joins her parents, her siblings, and her husband, Jerry Metcalf, in death. Graveside services will be at 12 noon on Saturday January 14, 2012, at the Ucon Cemetery in Ucon, Idaho. An open house to remember and celebrate Betty’s life will be held from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15 at the home of Bill Metcalf, 3162 North 825 West, in Pleasant View, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please "pay it forward" as Betty would do.
