Betty Carol (Johnson) Loveland

Betty Carol Loveland,94, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away November 16, 2022.

Betty was born September 28,1928, in Shelley, Idaho, to Samuel and Bertha Johnson. She grew up and attended schools in Shelley, Idaho.

On November 19,1969, she married Harold Loveland in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Betty and Harold made their home in Rigby, Idaho, where Betty worked for Safeway doing shipping and produce. They moved to Chula Vista, California, for a few years and retired in Ammon, Idaho, in 1994.

She will be remembered for the wonderful adventures she provided, her love of family, cooking (especially her poppy cock), history, Coca-Cola, and her days reading on the couch at the cabin.  She enjoyed golfing and traveling. She will be missed, but she gave four generations so much love and adventure that we will have her with us until we see her again.

Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Edwards; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Kay Young; father, Samuel Johnson; mother, Bertha Rose; and seven siblings.

Private family services will be held.
