Betty Garrick

Betty Garrick, 83, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 14, 2025, at her home. She was under the care of her family and Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

Betty was born March 27, 1942, in Bismarck, North Dakota, to Albert Fetchner and Viola Croft. She grew up and attended schools in South Dakota and graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She married David Garrick in Salt Lake City, Utah. Betty and David made their home in Salt Lake City Utah, where Betty worked as a cook for Mountain Fuel.

She enjoyed Nascar Racing, drag racing and watching football.

Betty is survived by her son, Henry (Janet) Garrick of Idaho Falls, ID; and sister, Verda Cowan of Magna, UT.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Garrick Sr., parents, Albert and Viola Fetchner, daughter, Lucy Hitesman, son David Garrick Jr., brother, Norman Fetchner, Sr., grandson, James Garrick, and nephew, Mark Fetchner.

Burial will be in the Memorial Redwood Cemetery in West Jordan, Utah. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
