Betty Lou Bundte Collins, 83, of Idaho Falls, returned to the loving arms of her Savior on March 27, 2011 at the Idaho Falls Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
Mom was born June 27, 1927 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Paul Bismark Bundte and LuLa Nancy Hines Bundte. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
She married the love of her life, Raymond Albert Collins, on July 9, 1948 in Elko, Nevada. He passed away December 28, 1968. She remained devoted to him until they were reunited in heaven on Sunday.
Betty worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell at the INL site. She also ran a home daycare for many years.
Mom was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed scrap-booking, poetry writing, playing cards, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Betty is survived by her loving children:
Son, Dennis Ray (Kathy) Collins of South Jordan, UT;
Daughter, Sherri ( Jerry) Jorgensen of Idaho Falls, ID;
Daughter, Jackie (Fred) Bell of Ammon, ID;
Daughter, Kimberly Collins, Idaho Falls, ID;
14 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2two brothers and four sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Idaho Falls Care Center and especially Hospice of Eastern Idaho for their compassionate and loving care.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 and 1 - 1:45 p.m. prior to the services,both visitaions at Wood's. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
