Betty Bowles - 09/21/2002 Betty Bowles - 09/21/2002 BETTY J. BOWLES RIGBY, ID -- Betty Joan Williams Bowles, 64, of Rigby, died September 20, 2002, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Idaho Falls. She was born June 3, 1938 at Jerome, Idaho to Samuel Williams and Leona Dunn Williams. The family moved to Idaho Falls, where she graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She married A. Dean Bowles March 27, 1968, in Idaho Falls, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker, and did bookkeeping for the family business. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a counselor in the Relief Society Presidency, as Young Women's President, and as Primary President. She enjoyed reading, baking, and working in the yard. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Tuesday, September 24, 2002, at the Milo LDS 2nd Ward (12127 North 75 East) with Bishop Kenneth Stucki officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Ave.) and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery.
