Bette Barbara Wright, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 16, 2015, at her home. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.
Bette was born August 6, 1925, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Alonso King and Opal Arant King. She grew up and attended schools in Klamath Falls.
On February 3, 1948, she married Robert "Bob" Allen Wright in San Francisco, California. To this union was born a son, Ron. Bette and Bob made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Bette worked as a waitress for LaBaron’s Restaurant and The Original Hawaiian on 2nd Street.
She was a member of Eagles Lodge and Elks Lodge. She enjoyed teaching Boy Scouts for several years, was an avid reader, loved sewing, music, and spending time with her many friends. She also made and sold shirts for her business "Shirts Are Her."
Bette is survived by
son, Ronald Allen (Cindy) Wright of Idaho Falls, ID;
granddaughter, Danielle Lee Wright of Lake Stevens, WA
granddaughter, Courtney Ann Wright of Idaho Falls, ID;
and her great-grandchildren, Jaden, Ashlee, Destinee and Zackeree, all of Lake Stevens, WA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wright; father, Alonso King; mother, Opal Arant; and sister, Jeanne Mayes.
Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
Graveside Services will be held at a later date. She passed away
