Bethene Haws Caudill, 68, of Ririe, Idaho, passed away September 30, 2017, at her home. She was under the care of her husband and family and Solace Hospice. Bethene was born June 17, 1949, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ray Williman Haws and Marsha Eliza Waters Haws. She grew up and attended schools in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School. She also attended University of Cosmetology Utah. On January 25, 1980, she married Ronald Wilson Caudill in Soda Springs, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Rexburg LDS Temple. They made their home in Ririe, Idaho. Bethene worked as the manager of the Idaho Falls state liquor store. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed traveling, reading, camping, fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, and loved her yard, especially mowing. She was very family oriented and loved being with them. Bethene is survived by her husband of nearly 38 years, Ronald Caudill of Ririe, ID; son, Trent (Amy) Johnson of Rigby, ID, daughter, Teri (Brody) Magera of Rigby, ID, sister, Nancy (Skeet) Nace of Norfolk, VA, sister, Dalene (Warren) Chase of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Brent Haws of Anaheim, CA, brother, Joe Haws of Ririe, ID. stepbrother, Jeff Davis of Meridian, ID; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Timothy Johnson, stepfather, Wes Davis, stepbrother, Steve Davis, and a sister-in-law, Joan Haws. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Ririe LDS Church, 285 2nd West, with Bishop Todd Sutton of the Ririe 1st Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
