Beth Robinson

Susa Beth Schiess Robinson, 88, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away September 23, 2014, at her home at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living Center. Beth was born June 24, 1926, in Ogden, Utah, to Delbert Schiess and Susan Merle Nelson Schiess. She grew up and attended schools in Star Valley. She attended Freedom Elementary School and graduated from Star Valley High School. She lived in Freedom for 52 years, Osmond, Wyoming, for seven years, Laie, Hawaii, for one year, Littleton, Colorado, for one year, and Idaho Falls, Idaho, for 25 years. On June 6, 1948, she married Rex Dale Robinson in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple October 23, 2001. Beth and Rex made their home in Freedom, Wyoming, where Beth was a wife, mother and homemaker. She also worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for R. D. Robinson Construction, Deana Worton Tax and Accounting Service, and Rocky Mountain Services. Rex passed away May 16, 2000. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various capacities over the years, including full-time missions to the Laie, Hawaii, and Littleton, Colorado Temples and the Idaho Falls Family History Center. Beth enjoyed bookkeeping - she loved numbers. She also loved reading, dancing, and her friends and family. Beth is survived by her son, Eric Robinson of Orem, UT, daughter, Rhonda R. Erickson of Osmond, WY, daughter, Shawnee Byington of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Kordy Rainey of Etna, WY, son, Todd Robinson of Fairview, WY, son, Kurt Robinson of Watford City, ND, sister, Vicky Snyder of Pocatello, ID, sister, Noreen Rich of Roy, UT, 36 grandchildren and 73 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rocky Robinson, a daughter, Joni Robinson, a granddaughter, Megann Mehlhoff, a grandson, Mitch Mehlhoff, and two great granddaughters, Adella Lesuma and Brynlee Liston. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the Freedom LDS Ward in Freedom, Wyoming. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Schwab Funeral Chapel in Thayne, Wyoming, and from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Freedom Cemetery.

Burial will be in the Freedom Cemetery.
