Beth Robison Robinson, 93, of Idaho Falls passed away Friday, December 25, 2015, at Turtle & Crane Assisted Living Center. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.
Beth was born to Marion Robison and Effie Jensen Robison October 30, 1922, in a small community in Aetna, Alberta, Canada, just south of Cardston. Her parents were citizens of the United States. She attended school in Canada until the end of her second grade. The family then moved to Byron, Wyoming, where she graduated from Byron High School in May 1941. In the fall, she attended business school in Billings, Montana. She worked in the Byron Superintendent's office, then moved to Denver, Colorado, where she worked as a secretary for Western Union and a western wear company.
In Denver, she met Aaron Lott Robinson from Ucon, Idaho. They were married June 26, 1944, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Together they farmed in Ucon and the Milo area. They were married 54 years. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving diligently in many ward and stake callings. er husband, Aaron, died in October, 1998. After his death, she served a Humanitarian Mission in Idaho Falls from September 2002-September 2004. She helped assemble many quilts.
Beth's hobbies were sewing, cooking, and serving others. Her children, grandchildren, and friends received many of her homemade sewing or cooking gifts. She is survived by her children: Arlene (Clive) Henderson, Idaho Falls; Aleta Robinson (Aaron Neil, deceased), Idaho Falls; Brent (Janet) Robinson, Rupert, Idaho; Lorin (Kathy) Robinson, Midvale, Utah; Nancy (Larry) Conder of Shelley, Idaho; Val Robinson, Idaho Falls; Sharon Harris (Dan) of Springville, Utah; and her brothers, Lee (Ann, deceased) Robison and Reid (Gloria Dawn) Robison of Provo, Utah; and Don (Juanita, deceased) Robison, of Salt Lake City, Utah. Her posterity numbers 47 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aaron; brother, Dale Robison; sons, Glen Marion Robinson and Aaron Neil Robinson; and grandsons, Robbie Aaron Robinson and Justin Neil Robinson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2015, at the Idaho Falls LDS Foothill Ward (12127 North 75 East), with Bishop Harrigfeld officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery.
