Beth Marie (Rhoades) Dick

Beth Marie Rhoades Dick, 96, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away November 4, 2024.

She was born November 2, 1928, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Albert John Rhoades and Ella Labrum Rhoades. She attended Riverside Elementary, O.E. Bell Junior High, and Idaho Falls High School.

On November 24, 1948, she married the love of her life, William Terry Dick. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. They lived in Pocatello, Idaho, and Carlin, Nevada, before moving back to Idaho Falls for the majority of their lives.

Beth was instrumental in starting the Al-Anon meetings in Idaho Falls. She loved people and was happy to talk to anyone who needed a listening ear. Many friends and family have good memories of visiting with her around her kitchen table.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her favorite calling was in Nursery and Primary with the children. She was an excellent cook and shared her banana bread with many friends.

Beth is survived by her two sons, William Kelly (Jean) Dick and Jon (Lori) Dick; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Terry Dick; son and his wife, Steven Terry (Raylene) Dick; 5 siblings, Velma Emery, Juanita Cummins, Ray Rhoades, Ellen Carlson, and Clarice Knudsen.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends and family one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Ucon Cemetery immediately following.
