Berta Schrögenaur Fuller, 89, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away January 22, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Berta was born September 4, 1922, in Salzburg, Austria, to
Anna Schrögenaur and Theodor Strubreiter. She attended school in Austria and immigrated to the United States in December, 1948.
On March 21, 1949, she married Owen Wallace in Idaho Falls, and they were later divorced. Owen passed away April 17, 2002.
She married Edward Zane Fuller in October, 30, 1976, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2004. Berta was a homemaker and mother and worked as a nurses aide at Sacred Heart Hospital and as a housekeeper at the Bonneville Hotel Apartments until her retirement at age 72.
Berta was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting, handwork, gardening, and yard work. Berta was a very caring person, always willing to serve others.
Berta is survived by her
Son, Larry (Wendy) Wallace of Idaho Falls, ID,
Son, Kevin (Valerie) Wallace of Henderson, NV;
Sister, Anna Schrögenaur of Salzburg, Austria;
8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, and a brother, Fritz Schrögenaur.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Newell Walker officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
