Rebecca “Becky” Mary Freeman, 77, of Ammon, passed away July 30, 2026, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia.
Becky was born January 20, 1949, in Downey, California, to Mark James Freeman and Sylvia Mary McNeil Freeman. She grew up and attended schools in Ririe, Idaho, and graduated from Ririe High School. She graduated from Ricks College in 1969, and Brigham Young University in 1973, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Florida Spanish Mission from 1970-1972, served in the Family Search Center for 45 years, and as a Family History Support Missionary for 20 years. She also served as a nursery leader, gospel doctrine teacher, and in the Stake Relief Society Presidency. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting, and painting.
Becky is survived by her sister, Wendy Freeman of Ammon, ID; half sister, LeAnna Pudas of Oulu, WI; nephew, Dan (Donya) Pudas of Oulu, WI; niece, Cori (Mike) Lawrence of Sussix, WI; niece, Stacey Freeman of Colorado Springs, CO; nephew, Robert (Tiffany) Freeman of Pocatello, ID; nephew, Eric (Christy) Freeman of Menan, ID; nephew, Jared Freeman of Boise, ID; niece, Sylvia Freeman of Mackay, ID; and 12 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis Freeman; and brother, Larry Freeman.
