Barry Todd Oviatt, 54, passed away April 6, 2011 at his home in Aurora, Colorado. He was the son of Norma Oviatt and the late Wilbur Oviatt. Barry was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania September 27, 1956. Barry attended grade school ion Upton, Wyoming and Malley School in Northglenn, Colorado. During his high school years, Barry was involved in Judo and wrestling and played the drums with the school band. He graduated from Northglenn High School in 1975. He joined the United States Navy and served four years; he was aboard the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy and fought in the Gulf War. Barry was the owner of Barry’s Plumbing. He loved his dogs Cisco and Shep – they were like his children. He was a happy person who enjoyed archery, hunting and fishing, spending time in the outdoors, and playing Dungeons & Dragons. Survivors include his mother Norma Oviatt of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Bruce (Kathy) Oviatt of Northglenn, CO; brother, Lance (Kimmy) Oviatt of Thornton, CO; and Niece and nephew Hannah and Samuel Oviatt also of Northglenn, CO. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services for Barry were held April 14, 2011 in Colorado under the direction of Olinger Funeral Home in Aurora.
