Barry Wayne Nichols

Barry Wayne Nichols, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 29, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Barry was born July 26, 1962, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Wayne Christensen and Barbara Laraine Fullmer Christensen. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

Barry worked in a telecommunications warehouse for RS&I. He was engaged to Teresa Hunting, and he loved spending time with Teresa and her son, David, as well as his family and friends. He enjoyed his tattoos, listening to music, going to concerts, and camping. He was a fantastic cook, had a unique gardening flair, and loved his gargoyles and dragons.

Barry is survived by his fiancée, Teresa Hunting of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Wayne (Marcia) Christensen of Iona, ID; daughter, Ashlee (Michael) Johansson of Oceanside, CA; daughter, Nichole (Matthew Ordway) Gneiting of Idaho Falls, ID; son, David Hunting of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters, Lori (Mel) Elliott of Pocatello, ID, Corey Jo (Ryan) Ward of Teton, ID, and Elissa Davis of South Jordan, UT;  brothers, Jeff Nichols of Idaho Falls, ID, Justin (Melissa) Nichols of Idaho Falls, ID, Jonathan (JaNay) Nichols of Madison, AL, Lathen Nichols of Idaho Falls, ID, Chad (Raquel Sarno) Simmons of Dallas, TX, Rick (Stephanie) Christensen of Pocatello, ID, Jeff (Valerie) Christensen of Idaho Falls, ID, and Danny (WenDee) Christensen of Rigby, ID; and 8 grandchildren: Chaise, Colin, Carter, Kayden, Jace, Tayson, Nikko, Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Laraine Nichols; aunt, Evelyn Mayes; uncle, Keith Fullmer; aunt, Kathy Fullmer; uncles, Dave and Scott Nichols; grandparents, Barbara and Oscar Fullmer; grandparents, Faye and Floyd Christensen; grandparents, Jack & Beulah Nichols.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
