Barbara Deone Smith Fullmer, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 18, 2018, at Turtle & Crane Assisted Living Center.

She was born February 22, 1926, in Lyman, Idaho, to Albert William Smith and Mary Elisebeth Simper Smith. She grew up and attended schools in the Archer/Lyman area.

On September 10, 1942, she married Oscar A. Fullmer in Preston, Idaho. To this union were born six children: Keith, Laraine, Art, Alan, Kathy, and Lyn. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She also worked as a cook for Osgood Elementary, the LDS Hospital, and the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Relief Society, Primary, and as a Librarian. She enjoyed sewing, camping, and making quilts.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Barbara "Laraine" Nicoles of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Arlin "Art" Kay (Arlene) Fullmer of Iona, ID; son, Alan Kent Fullmer of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Evelyn "Lyn" Marie (DeWayne) Mayes of Ucon, ID; sister, Betty (Ken) Carlson of Meridian, ID; brother-in-law, Galon Wilson of Menan, ID; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 16 great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Keith Fullmer; daughter, Kathy Fullmer; and five siblings, Lloyd Smith, Vontella Brown, Dorothy Wilson, Donna Mickelsen, and Craig Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the Idaho Falls LDS 9th Ward (395 - 2nd Street) with Bishop Kyle Panting officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Ave.) and Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
