IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Barbara Anderson Forsgren, 81, passed away December 27, 2009, at Idaho Falls Health and Rehab Center. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
Barbara was born April 11, 1928, in Rigby, Idaho, to Eather Heman Anderson and Eva Thomas Anderson. She grew up and attended schools in the Rigby area.
She married and was later divorced. She was a mother and homemaker and worked outside the home as a secretary.
Barbara was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her five grandchildren, Josh, Lexie, Tristen, Tyler and Dylan. Barbara took a lot of pride in her home and kept it immaculate.
She is survived by:
Daughter: Kaylene (Blair) Grover of Idaho Falls;
Son: Sheldon (Carrie) Forsgren of Idaho Falls;
Brother: Bill Anderson of Idaho Falls;
Brother: Dwain (JoAnn) Anderson of Idaho Falls;
Sister: Donna Rimbey of Manhattan Kansas;
Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eather and Eva Anderson and brother, Dale E. “Bud” Anderson.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 31, 2009, at the Ammon LDS 6th Ward, 2150 Avocet, with Bishop Cam J. Payne officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side and Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery.
