BARBARA CAMPBELL
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Barbara Jean Knapp Campbell, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 28, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of cancer. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
She was born February 24, 1934, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Howard Alonzo Knapp and Ruby Ellen Nelson Knapp. She is a lifelong resident of Idaho Falls and attended Hawthorne Elementary School, O. E. Bell Junior High School, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
She married Richard Arnold Campbell January 19, 1953, in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a homemaker and mother and also worked as a case manager for the Head Start Program and as Account Manager at Campbell’s Quality Exteriors.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various capacities over the years, including serving as Visiting Teaching Coordinator in the Relief Society. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, and doing things for others, especially her family.

Brother: Dale Knapp of Orem, UT
Sister: Joyce McBride of Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Lorene Ferre of Salt Lake City, UT
12 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Knapp.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2005, at the Idaho Falls LDS 8th Ward, 2051 South Emerson, with Bishop Brad L. Doman officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Monday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
