JERRY WEAVER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Bal Jerry Weaver, 78, of Idaho Falls,
died November 4, 2004, at his home of leukemia. He was under the care
of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.
He was born September 28, 1926, in Preston, Idaho, to
Baldia Gamble Weaver and Lizzie Packer Weaver. He grew up and attended
schools in Preston and graduated from Preston High School. He also earned
his pilots’ license and attended Barber College in Utah. He served
in the U. S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He married Emma Joyce Chadwick May 26, 1948, in the Idaho
Falls LDS Temple. They lived in various places, then made their home in
Idaho Falls 48 years ago. He worked for the Department of Energy as a
communications specialist and retired in 1991. Joyce passed away June
11, 2000. He married Mabel Delna Mikesell Sewell April 10, 2002, in Idaho
Falls.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, he served in various positions over the years and was a Temple
Ordinance Worker in the Idaho Falls Temple for 10 years. He served for
many years as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America Pack 318. He loved
flying, traveling, going to his cabin, entertaining and playing Santa
for his grandchildren and great grandchildren, serving others, giving
of his talents such as cutting hair for friends, and watching his family
have fun.

Stepson: Jeff Sewell, Idaho Falls, ID
Stepdaughter: Suzanne Rawson, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Luda Keller, Brigham City, UT
Sister: Atha Call, Brigham City, UT
23 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce, two grandsons, Jeremy
Scott Drewes and Bryan Jerry Foster, a granddaughter, Jennifer Hill Sorensen,
his parents, grandparents, a brother, Wayne Weaver, and a sister, Aldis
Rasmussen.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November
8, 2004, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge, with Bishop
Larry Campbell of the Idaho Falls LDS 9th Ward officiating. The family
will visit with friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior
to the services on Monday, both at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction

Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County
