AVERY POLKINGHORN VALDOSTA, GA -- Avery Michael Polkinghorn, son of David Lucian Polkinghorn and Amy Kent Polkinghorn, was born into heaven October 3, 2007, at Smith Northview Hospital in Valdosta, Georgia. He is survived by his parents; a brother, Kevin David Polkinghorn; his grandparents, Warren and Leah Kent, Mike and Dalena Olson, David C. Polkinghorn, and Janean Z Parker; and his great grandparents, William and Darlene Benkenstein, Phil and Carol Polkinghorn, Robert and Anna Jean Hedelius, Harry Parker, and Darwin and Alice Olson. The family will visit with friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, prior to services at the cemetery.
