August "Gus" Leavitt

August Claude "Gus" Leavitt, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 25, 2015, at his home. He was born August 4, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, to Raymond Leroy Leavitt and Priscilla Anne "Pat" McClelland Leavitt. He served in the U. S. Army as a Private First Class during the Vietnam War from October 1972 to September 1975. He earned a Bachelor's Degree and worked at Gritman Medical Center in Adult Education. Survivors include a son, Jeremiah Leavitt of Reno, NV; a stepdaughter, Jelisha, two stepsons, Wesley and Alan, a brother, David Leavitt, and a sister, Laura. No services are planned.
