Audrey Elaine (Wilhelm) Keele

Audrey Elaine Keele, 95, passed away from natural causes on May 14, 2025, at home, being cared for by her loving daughter and Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

Audrey was born on Thursday March 27, 1930, in Onida, South Dakota, the eighth child of Rolla Washington Wilhelm and Ethel May Bowers Wilhelm.

Audrey married Robert “Bob” Kenneth Keele on February 8, 1949, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They had three children, Craig, Kim, and Sherry.

Audrey worked many jobs, including Arctic Circle, Highland IGA, School District, and in the Treasurers Office for Bonneville County from where she retired. In her younger years, she enjoyed sewing, camping, and spending time at the cabin in Swan Valley. In her later years, she enjoyed reading and putting jigsaw puzzles together.

Audrey is survived by her children, Robert Craig Keele, Kim (Geri) Keele, and Sherrel (Sherry) Owen; four grandchildren, Stacey, Clint, Kent, and Alena; 12 great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her eight siblings, her loving husband, and one grandchild, Christopher.

Audrey was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be greatly missed, always remembered and loved.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Ucon Cemetery.
