Aubree Skye Stewart, 20, of Ammon, passed away January 3, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of complications of the flu.
Aubree was born February 6, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Kenneth Michael Stewart and Brenda Lee Powell Stewart. The family moved to Idaho Falls when she was just a year old and she grew up in Idaho Falls and Ammon. She attended Hawthorne and Hillview Elementary Schools, Sandcreek Middle School, and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2010.
Aubree worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Ammon and loved her job. She was engaged to be married in February to Christian Shinsky.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, loved listening to music, reading, and helping her mother groom dogs. Aubree was always sweet and nice to everyone. She always touched the hearts of every person she met in life, and if she smiled at you, you could not help but smile back. She loved animals and kids and was trying to find a way to further her career in one of those fields.

Grandmother, Elaine Mitchell of Hampton, VA;
and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Dorothy Powell and Nancy Powell, a grandfather, Robert Mitchell, an aunt, Paulette Pochop, a cousin, Geoffrey Hough, and an uncle, Sidney Mitchell.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at the Ammon LDS 6th Ward, 2150 Avocet, with Bishop Cam Payne officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. the church. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
