Asha Sadelle Davenport, 19, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, January 29. 2012, from injuries incurred from a fall from a chairlift while having a seizure at a ski resort in Utah.
Asha was born June 12, 1992. in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Melvin Lee Davenport and Linda Jo Hamilton Davenport. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Edgemont Elementary School, Clair E. Gale Jr. High School, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She was attending the University of Utah at the time of her death, where she was an active member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She loved her roommates and sorority sisters.
Asha enjoyed working at Target before going to college. She loved playing sports, including basketball, through her sophomore year of high school. She was on the Idaho Falls High School Golf Team and competed in the State Championship all three years.
Asha considered herself a Christian. She was always the life of the party and lit up the room whenever she was there. She loved being with her family, especially her nieces, Isabelle and Mya, and her cousins, Duncan and Jacob. Asha loved playing golf , random dance parties, going to the beach, boating, water skiing and extreme tubing.
Asha is loved more than words expressed and will be deeply missed by her family, her boyfriend, Kindle Werner, friends and all those that knew her.
She is survived by her

Sister, Jennifer (Aron) Derbidge of Idaho Falls, ID;
Brother, Sean Davenport of Salt Lake City, UT;
Brother, Alex Davenport of Los Angeles, CA;
Nieces, Isabelle and Mya Derbidge of Idaho Falls, ID;
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, C.V. (Ham) and Velma Hamilton and Woody & Elayne Davenport.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Calvary Chapel, 4250 South 25th East, with Pastor Gordon Boyle officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Saturday from 12 Noon to 1:15 p.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be following services.
