Arthur White

ARTHUR W. WHITE IDAHO FALLS, ID - Arthur Wilson White, 76, of Idaho Falls, died December 10, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born August 23, 1927 at Kuna, Idaho to Ernest Nathaniel White and Hazel May Copeland White. His family moved to Baker, Idaho and then Idaho Falls where he graduated in 1945 from Idaho Falls High School. Following graduation, he served in the United States Navy during World War II. On May 6, 1950, he married Rosemary Andrews in Salmon, Idaho. He worked as a truck driver for McCowin Trucking, Louis Grover Trucking, North Fork Lumber Company and Grover Trucking. He enjoyed woodworking and especially loved being with his family which included his 4 grandchildren, Bill, Dan, Michael, and Josh; and 1 great grandchild, Chloe. Surviving are: Daughter: Terry (Frank) Bowen, Salmon, ID Son: Robert White, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Susan Giallombardo, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Diane (Mike) McFarlane, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Charlie White, ID Sister: Ardell Moore, WA Sister: Ruth Blackard, CA Brother: Keith White, UT Brother: Gale White, ID Sister: Rosemarie Klefman, ID Sister: MaryAnne Pelley, WA Brother: Earl Steck, FL Brother: Mike Thomas, NV Brother: Darrel Moore, WA 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a brother, Dr. Roy White. The family will visit with friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2003, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). Burial will be at a later date at the Salmon Cemetery in Salmon, Idaho.
