ARLENE JACOBSEN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Arlene Dean Tinker Jacobsen, 74, of Idaho Falls, died January 15, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 13, 1934, in Aberdeen, Idaho, to Cecil Verdell Tinker and Hazel Dean Phillips Tinker. She attended school in Aberdeen.
She married Donald Eugene Jacobsen on July 27, 1953 in Boise, Idaho. They moved frequently with Don's work in the mining industry before settling in Idaho Falls in 1979, where they raised their two daughters. Arlene worked as a waitress, hotel maid, and later as a sorter at Ucon Produce. Don preceded her in death on April 14, 1995.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed cleaning, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very good mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Granddaughter: Amy M. Olson (Shane) Hill, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Darril (Jannette) Tinker
7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Verdell Tinker and Delmar Tinker.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2009, at the Idaho Falls LDS Falls Brook Branch, 3700 East Lincoln Road, with President Larry Acor officiating.
