Ariel, I will always remember the fishing trip we took when I was 10 and everyone had to bait their own hooks and hold the fish by the gills to have their picture taken except me, of course, you did it all and let me hold it by the weight and of course I had the biggest fish of the day. While I was reeling it in my waist length hair got caught in the reel and I wouldn't stop because I wanted that fish and you came over and just ripped my hair out of the reel while I kept on reeling it in. I will always remember sleeping at your house as a child and then helping you and Bo make the homemade beer. Enjoy the reunion with your parents, brothers and sister.
Love, Carrie

For many years, we had a cabin at Henry's Lake, near Ariel's cabin. What a great fellow he was. Always willing to help out and offer advice on a problem, whether it was related to fishing or working! I worked with him on many jobs and feel I have lost a good friend.
