Ardith Weise

ARDITH WEISE IDAHO FALLS, ID - Ardith Leona Lloyd Weise, 70, longtime Bingham County resident, died September 19, 2005 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from a short illness. She was born April 11, 1935, in Amarillo, Texas, to Vernal Lloyd and Eunice Pheobe Walker Lloyd. The family moved to Idaho, where she attended O. E. Bell Junior High and Idaho Falls High School. She married David L. Weise January 27, 1952, in Idaho Falls. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple May 24, 1965. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Relief Society, as ward librarian, and as a visiting teacher. She and her husband were also members of the York Grange for over 50 years. Besides being a homemaker, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed reading. She is survived by: Husband: David L. Weise, Sr., Shelley, ID Daughter: Vicki Lyn (Rodney) Bird, Idaho Falls; Son: David L. (Julie) Weise, Jr., Shelley, ID Son: Stephen L. Weise, Shelley, ID Daughter: Debra L. Weise, Shelley, Daughter: Melissa L. (Quinn) Nelson, Idaho Falls; Sister: Bonnie Fernandez, El Cajon, CA 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, her parents-in-law, a brother and a sister. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005, at the Goshen LDS Ward, 792 North 1090 East, Shelley. The family will visit with friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and for one hour before services Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
