ARA MINTA PRESLAR IDAHO FALLS, ID - Ara Minta Preslar, 88, long-time resident of Idaho Falls, died September 18, 2004, at the Rexburg Nursing Center. She was born February 22, 1916, in Rigby, Idaho, to George W. Kite and Bertha Russell Kite. She attended Rigby Elementary and Rigby High School. She married John Howard Fullmer November 21, 1933, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They lived in the Roberts area for 14 years where they operated a farm. He preceded her in death in1980. She married Leon Barron. He preceded her in death. She married Wendell Preslar, and he preceded her in death. She has lived in Idaho Falls for 57 years and had worked at Rogers Brothers Potato Processing, S & H Green Stamps and Hart's Bakery. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she has served in various positions. She enjoyed dancing and quilting. Surviving are: Son: John H. (Donna) Fullmer, Jr., Quartzsite, AZ Daughter: Nola (Gary) Cook, Rexburg, ID Son: James Neal (Donna) Fullmer, Brigham City, UT Daughter-in-law: Pauline Fullmer, Pocatello, ID 18 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, one son, Larry, one grandson, Robert Neal and three of her husbands. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2004,at the Idaho Falls LDS 18th Ward, 1200 Dunbar Drive, with Bishop Frank Johnston officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and for one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Annis-Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
